For sale is a good quality 19th Century Mahogany Library chair upholstered in hand dyed tan leather. The chair has a beautifully scrolled and buttoned back, with small turned supports under each arm. Both arms are also upholstered. the chair stands on small turned feet terminating on brass castors and is in excellent condition having been recently re-upholstered.

Victorian Rosewood Secretaire Wellington Chest / Collectors Chest

For sale is a very good quality Victorian Rosewood Secretaire Wellington Chest. The chest has 6 graduated drawers, each with turned handles. The third drawer down is a secretaire, with a fall front opening to reveal a fitted interior comprising several drawers and pigeon holes as well as a red leather insert. This is above a further three graduated drawers. The chest has a side locker, allowing all drawers to the locked at once. The overall condition of the chest is very good. There is a dent in the top of the chest (see images). The damage was caused during the German bombing raids of London in 1940-1941. A piece of shrapnel hit the chest, leaving the mark. All of the original veneer is still present in the dent. We have left it in its original state as we think this is a nice piece of the chests history.

Edwardian Marquetry "Eclipse" Desk

For sale is a fine quality Rosewood and Marquetry "Eclipse" Writing Table of square form. With a dual hinged top, operating on a cantilevered rising writing slope with extensive tooled leather fittings, standing on square tapered legs terminating on brass castors. The desk is stamped "The Eclipse" with patent details to the brass interior supports. All of the interior is original, with its original ink wells, cash account book, as well as stamp holders. The desk is in excellent original condition, with only slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. It would be difficult to find a finer example.

Mahogany Kidney Shaped Desk by Gillow

For sale is a very good quality Edwardian Kidney Shaped Desk by Waring and Gillows. The top of the desk has a tan leather hyde insert, with decorative blind and gold tooling. The desk has five drawers each with ornate brass handles, to the top of the left hand drawer it is stamped Waring and Gillows Liverpool. The desk stands on nicely carved cabriol legs terminating with claw and ball feet. And is in very good condition for its age.

For sale is a good quality Victorian Burr Walnut and Inlaid Oval Loo Table. The top of the table is inlaid and banded above a birdcage base. The base has four columns with an ornate finial to the centre, standing on four splayed legs terminating on castors. For sale is a good quality Victorian Rosewood Games Table. The table has an inlaid top which swivels and folds over to reveal a chess board and backgammon. Below this is a single fitted drawer, for sewing utensils. This is above a large pull out basket. The base of the table has an intricately carved stretcher supported elegant legs, terminating on original castors. The table is in very good condition having been restored by hand using traditional methods.

For sale is a fine quality Mid-Victorian Burr Walnut Games Table. The top of the table has a hazel coloured leather, with decorative gold tooling and a centre motif. On each side of the table is a drop down flap, each nicely inlaid with floral patters. Under these flaps, in each corner there is a pull out money well above an ornate birdcage base, with exquisite carvings standing on elegant legs terminating on original castors. This piece is in excellent condition having been fully restored using only traditional methods.

George III Burr Walnut and Inlaid Chest of Drawers. The top of the chest is nicely banded with walnut, and is inlaid on the centre. Below this there is an assortment of drawers, two short over three long. Each have brass handles and are inlaid to match the top of the chest. This piece stands on bun feet and is in very good condition having been fully restored by hand using traditional methods.
